
Dr. Bill Beach

Bill Beach served as Commissioner of the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics from 2019 to 2023. Before that he was Vice President for Policy Research at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University and Chief Economist for the Republican staff of the Senate Budget Committee. Earlier he was the Lazof Family Fellow in Economics at The Heritage Foundation and director of its Center for Data Analysis. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Buckingham.
