Dr. Dawn Wiese

Dr. Dawn Wiese is the Chief Operating Officer of FRMT, Ltd., which provides insurance for men's fraternal organizations. She also serves as adjunct faculty in Virginia Military Institute's Department of Economics and Business teaching Organizational Behavior. Dr. Wiese previously served as a university vice president and founder and chief operating officer of a consulting firm primarily focusing on higher education. A court-recognized expert in fraternal, higher education, and nonprofit litigation, she has published extensively on higher education, student development, and fraternity and sorority life. She has been awarded the North American Interfraternity Conference Silver Medal and the Fraternity Executives Association's highest honor for non-headquarters staff among other awards. Dr. Wiese earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from Virginia Tech, her PhD from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and completed post-doctoral coursework in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Harvard University.
