Kirk Bado

Kirk A. Bado is editor of The Hotline, the daily Bible of American politics. He directs campaign coverage and leads a team of correspondents covering the day-to-day news of races all over the country from the presidential race down to state legislatures. Originally from Pittsburgh, Kirk graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Master’s in mass communication after completing his B.S. in politics and public law at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn. Prior to National Journal, Kirk worked at USA Today, Reuters, the Arizona Republic, the Tennessean, and EdNC.
